SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2013 will mark the North American debut of Triveni Digital's StreamScope Portal, a portable, tablet-based MPEG analysis and monitoring tool, as well as its GuideBuilder 5 metadata generation platform.The StreamScope Portal features a variety of dongle-based input options and is designed for real-time, file-based MPEG-2/MPEG-4 analysis and monitoring of DTV transport streams on Gigabit Ethernet networks and other interfaces from anywhere in the plant.The fifth-generation GuideBuilder PSIP, SI, and mobile ESG generator is designed to enable cable operators to comply with FCC PSIP requirements. It's also designed to optimize the production of program guides and metadata through a simplified user interface, improved performance, and integration with a range of multiplexers, encoders, automation systems, traffic systems, and listing services.
