RGB Networks' products have been used by Sweetwater Cable TV, an independent cable operator, to upgrade its network to fully digital operation in order to deliver more services.Sweetwater has served the residents of Wyoming's Rock Springs and Green River communities since its founding in 1955. With its all-digital upgrade, the company now offers broadband video, data and voice services, including more than 240 channels of programming, including HD broadcasts of all local channels.RGB products deployed in Sweetwater's central headend in Rock Springs, WY, include the Broadcast Network Processor (BNP) for statistical multiplexing, transrating, grooming and ad splicing, and the Modular Media Converter (MMC) for ASI-to-Gigabit Ethernet conversion. RGB will be highlighting its line of digital and IP video products at The Independent Show, July 28-31, in San Diego.
