Canadian operator Eastlink announced the launch of its new iPad application, TotalGuide xD. The new application, powered by Rovi (NASDAQ:ROVI), is intended to personalize the guide experience.Building on Eastlink's Remote DVR service released last month, the free TotalGuide xD iPad app is designed to let viewers browse TV listings, explore programs, find what to watch, personalize the guide, and remotely schedule recordings for viewing at a later time and date directly from their iPad tablets.The app is available on the iTunes App Store and is available in English and French.
