The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, a non-profit organization based in East Hartford, CT, is using Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business Ethernet services and PRI Trunks to improve its information technology (IT) operations.Comcast installed a 100 Mbps Ethernet Private Line that connects CCAT's headquarters to its Advanced Manufacturing Center, as well as a 5 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet line and PRI Trunks that interface with CCAT's existing telephony system to provide Voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities.CCAT offers a range of services to high technology firms, military defense organizations, educators, entrepreneurs and public policy makers both locally and nationally.
