TWC Upgrading Android App for VOD, TV Everywhere

Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) will be launching an upgrade to the Android version of its TWC TV app. The MSO is adding access to more than 4,000 on-demand TV shows and movies as well as live TV and VOD support for older Android devices (running Android 2.2 or higher). Some of the content will be available outside the home, as it is with the iOS version of the app. The update is scheduled for release on May 14.
