Philip G. Meeks will join Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Business Services, effective June 3. In this newly created role, Meeks will lead the company's business services unit, which serves more than 570,000 business customers and accounts for approximately $2 billion in annual revenues.Meeks will lead a team of more than 6,000 employees and oversee all aspects of operations, sales and marketing for Business Services. He will be based in New York City.Meeks most recently served as senior vice president of Cox Business. Before joining Cox in 2008, he was the co-founder and lead executive for a startup company focused on enhancing the supply chain between technology vendors and value added resellers in the Internet security, data storage and VoIP markets. He also worked at MCI Telecommunications and AT&T Information Systems/Southern Bell.
