Opportunities in SMB IT Support

According to Parks Associates, IT support for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) is an area of opportunity for broadband service providers. Some 55-65% of U.S. SMBs surveyed prefer phone and email tech support options over face-to-face service. Some 54% of SMBs surveyed prefer electronics retailers as a tech support provider and 51% prefer CE manufacturers, with 45% highly likely to use a broadband service provider. The research house believes this represents an opportunity for broadband service providers that are already are providing service to SMBs.
