Advanced Digital Broadcast is showcasing its latest technologies for the U.S. cable market at the CableLabs Winter Conference in Orlando, FL, this week. Platforms on display will include a hospitality video solution and several set-tops.New to ADB's Commercial Video Solution (CVS) version 2.0 is the ability to scale to millions of set-top boxes all from a centralized server. In addition, the back office tools and real-time monitoring have been enhanced. Intended for hotels and other businesses, the system is designed to support HD, SDV, VOD, and local video insertion. It does not require headend infrastructure on hotel premises, and is designed to interact with both MSO and hotel billing and VOD systems. It's also designed to be tru2Way compliant and compatible with legacy and OCAP networks.
