According to Vertical Systems Group, the top cable MSOs selling business Ethernet services in the United States are (in rank order based on port share): Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC), Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR), Lightpath (formerly Optimum Lightpath), and Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA).VSG data indicates that the Ethernet port base grew 24% in 2012. Ethernet access to IP VPNs and cloud connectivity were the fastest growing applications.
