DISH (NASDAQ:DISH) has introduced the DISH Explorer app for iPad, a second-screen app for the company's Hopper Whole-Home HD DVR platform. The new app is designed to combine program-discovery tools, social media engagement and remote-control capabilities. It connects to an Internet-connected Hopper via WiFi and is available at no charge in Apple's App Store.
