Optimum Lightpath's Managed Video service now supports 1.485 GB linear uncompressed HD-SDI over dedicated wavelength. The functionality is available throughout the company's New York metro area footprint, supporting the real-time transport of uncompressed HD video over a 100% fiber network. The update is targeted primarily to media production facilities, broadcasters, TV stations, video relay bureaus and content distributors that want to transport video of live events to various local destinations.
