Time Warner Cable Business Class has been awarded a multi-year services contract with the State of Texas Department of Information Resources, making the company's suite of next generation network and Internet solutions available to all state agencies.The State of Texas DIR, through the Tex-AN network, provides statewide communications technology services to more than 600 state agencies, as well as institutions of higher education, public education, local government, and other publicly funded customers. As an approved Tex-AN Next Generation DIR vendor under the new contract, TWCBC will offer Internet, Ethernet, and SoHo remote access services for teleworking and branch office connectivity to help state organizations reduce costs and improve operations.
