At ANGA COM in Cologne, Germany, Rohde & Schwarz will show cloud-based OTT monitoring systems, monitoring and multiviewer solutions, and DOCSIS 3.1 testing.

The company's R&S PRISMON.cloud is intended for end-to-end video and audio monitoring. It's designed to view outside the premises and across the delivery ecosystem in an all-IP approach compatible with R&S PRISMON on-premises probes. It monitors the content and its adaptive bitrate profiles continuously, and is entirely deployable from a standard web browser.

The R&S PRISMON solution is intended for two primary applications: audio/video monitoring for distribution/delivery environments and an IP baseband multiviewer for studio/production/playout environments.

The company's DOCSIS 3.1 signal analyzer R&S DSA is designed to support analysis of both upstream and downstream signals. In connection with the DOCSIS signal generator R&S SFD, components in the return path or cable modems can be tested. The DOCSIS cable load generator R&S CLGD supports FDX (Full Duplex). The R&S NRX power meter is designed to measure the signal power of burst signals. It has a touchscreen based user interface.
