Forethought.net has finished its fiber-optic buildout to the Chatfield neighborhood in the town of Gypsum, CO. It now offers symmetrical fiber-to-the-home (FTTH)-based Internet service with speeds of up to 1 Gbps. The service is intended for homes, multi-tenant units, municipalities and businesses.
The fiber-optic network is complete in Chatfield Corners and is in phase 1 in Buckhorn, where work began in early October. Wireless connectivity is available throughout the towns Gypsum and Eagle. Forethought.net can also offer phone, as well as Internet service with managed WiFi.
"We are investing in our communities throughout Colorado. It means a lot to me personally to complete the Buckhorn and Chatfield neighborhoods with gigabit Internet access," said Jawaid Bazyar, president, Forethought.net. "We are eager to expand our wireless services network backed by fiber-optics throughout Gypsum."
Forethought.net service areas in Colorado include the Denver metro area, Grand Junction, Cortez, Durango, Silverton, Eagle County, and San Miguel County, as well as Farmington, NM.
