Cable ONE (NYSE:CABO) is launching its GigaONE gigabit Internet service in Parsons and Chanute, KS.

Cable ONE's gigabit deployments are based on DOCSIS 3.0. As of January, the $175 a month service was available in 95% of the company's footprint, 200+ communities. It was most recently launched in Show Low and Holbrook, AZ. To date, the service has been deployed in parts of Alabama, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Mississippi.

"GigaONE will support the technology needs of the communities we serve, now and in the future," said Varn Chavez, Cable ONE director of residential marketing. "We are excited to be able to offer gigabit service to nearly 1.5 million homes in the markets we serve."

Cable ONE says it has invested more than $770 million over the past five years on network upgrades.
