Deviser Instruments has launched the DS2831 Digital TV Spectrum Analyzer family for OFDM/DOCSIS 3.1 networks. The spectrum analyzer was unveiled at the SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver.

The DS2831 line combines a spectrum analyzer (including 80 dB dynamic range and -60 dBmV sensitivity @300 kHz RBW) with an integrated DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem and OFDM signal demodulator. It's also designed to manage assets, firmware upgrades, channel plans and measurement results.

"During recent field trials, our customers stated their clear appreciation for the fast instrument responses and high dynamic range of the DS2831. Together with the DOCSIS 3.1 modem, the DS2831 family can equip installers, maintenance technicians and headend engineers with a versatile and comprehensive tool," said Bernie Cadieux, Deviser's VP of North American CATV sales, marketing and business development.
