At IBC2017 in Amsterdam, Amino will showcase its "upcycling" solutions for legacy video network and customer premises equipment (CPE). The technology is designed to deliver a multiscreen user experience that leverages existing deployed devices and equipment.

The show will feature live demonstrations of the company's "Transformation Toolkit," which includes:

  • The Amino ENABLE virtual set-top box platform - designed to let operators launch virtualized user experience (UX) and video services while maximizing the value of existing capital and infrastructure investment
  • The Amino MOVE platform - a scalable end-to-end cloud TV platform for multiscreen services
  • The Amino VIEW range of devices - hybrid/IPTV devices with dual mode Android/Linux devices and demonstrations with middleware partners highlighting access to Google Play Store apps and premium content

Amino CEO Donald McGarva said: "We're really looking to showing how we can help operators 'upcycle' their existing installed base - and transform the TV experience their customers can receive. We are also excited to show that we have developed the wide-ranging portfolio of solutions they need to support that transition."
