At Mobile World Congress 2017, Viaccess-Orca will demonstrate its security, data analytics, and video products for mobile operators to deliver and monetize multiscreen and OTT video content. Specific products being showcased will include TVaaS, Virtual Arena, DRM Suite and VO StreamCast.
Viaccess-Orca will demonstrate analytics and monetization capabilities for its cloud-based TV Everywhere as a Service (TVaaS). The demo will highlight the integration of a new HTML5 web player into the solution, enabling pre-roll advertising in the multiscreen environment. In addition, it will showcase strategies for exploiting TV data, including predictive analytics, so that operators can provide a more personalized TV experience across all screens.
A solution for 360-degree video streaming (live and on-demand), Viaccess-Orca's Virtual Arena offers mobile operators a platform for delivering and monetizing content on multiple devices, including flat screens and head-mounted displays. Demos will include virtual reality (VR) with 360-degree content in 4K and 8K. The pre-integrated ecosystem is designed to improve video quality, maximize bandwidth efficiency, and enable a range of monetization options for VR. The platform features data collection, extraction of insights, and targeted advertising through multiple sensors.
The company's modular multi-DRM content protection solution for multiscreen TV services is designed for fast time to market, minimal CAPEX investment, and the same quality of experience (QoE) across devices. Viaccess-Orca's DRM Suite is based on the company's Connected Sentinel multi-DRM back-end platform. It also includes the comany's Connected Sentinel Player for mobile devices, an HTML5-based web player compatible with PC and Mac, and forensic watermarking technology for tablets and smartphones.
Viaccess-Orca will also demonstrate its StreamCast streaming video product.
