South African Internet service provider Afrihost has chosen Qwilt's open caching solution to optimize streaming video delivery and improve quality of experience (QoE) for its customers. The companies worked with local systems integrator Three6Five.

Qwilt's solution is designed to analyze OTT video traffic in real time to cache and deliver popular video content locally at the subscriber edge, to remove the need for duplicate streams from origin sites or content delivery networks (CDNs).
