AT&T (NYSE:T) is now offering its FTTH-based gigabit Internet service to homes, apartments and small business locations in parts of the Greenville, SC, and Little Rock, AR, areas, and is expanding the service's availability in parts of the Sacramento area. The service starts at $90 a month in the three markets.

The company's AT&T Fiber service is currently available in parts of 46 metro areas nationwide, with a goal of reaching at least 67 metro areas.

The gigabit service is now available in parts of Greenville, Greer and surrounding communities. AT&T plans to expand availability into parts of Mauldin and Spartanburg in the future.

In the Little Rock area, availability includes parts of Bryant, Maumelle, North Little Rock and surrounding communities.

In the Sacramento area, the expansion includes parts of Modesto, Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Stockton, West Sacramento and surrounding areas. AT&T previously launched gigabit in parts of Placer County (Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln), and their surrounding communities. The company plans to expand availability into parts of Fairfield, Tracy and Vacaville in the future.
