At the Broadband World Forum in London, Sagemcom is showcasing a PON-based fiber and WiFi media gateway designed to provide symmetrical 10 Gbps speeds. For whole-home distribution, it integrates 2.4 GHz 4x4 and 802.11ac 8x8 wireless solutions. It also includes a 10 Gbps copper LAN interface.

The company is also highlighting its F@st 3890 cable media gateway certified by Cablelabs in March. It integrates DOCSIS 3.1 technology for speeds up to 5 Gbps. The gateway is designed to operate DOCSIS 3.1 and DOCSIS 3.0 32x8 simultaneously, and it uses Wave 2 WiFi.

Other featured products include a new range of DOCSIS 3.0 gateways implementing 802.11ac 4x4 WiFi, as well as the company's SWAN software solution for home gateways. The software now features analytics for big data, containerized application framework, line rate broadband speed test, and WiFi radio resource management with cloud-powered machine learning algorithms.
