At ANGA COM in Cologne, Germany, ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) will be focused on gigabit Internet speeds. The company will be demonstrating DOCSIS 3.1, remote PHY architecture, 1.2 GHz access networks, and PON solutions. Booth demos will include:

  • A preview of the latest additions to our portfolio of DOCSIS 3.1 devices including the new Touchstone TG3472 broadband gateway, providing high-speed WiFi
  • The first live European demos of the high-density 10G EPON Fiber Module, showing multi-gigabit symmetrical service delivery with the E6000 chassis
  • The Router Switch Module 2 (RSM-2), increasing the E6000 network-side interface capacity and its packet forwarding capacity
  • The DOCSIS 3.1 capable UCAM-2, providing increases in both DOCSIS 3.0 upstream channel capacity per service group and the ability to support DOCSIS 3.1 in the upstream

Other focus areas will include capabilities for reliable video delivery over WiFi around the home; next-generation set-tops, software platforms, and set-top function virtualization; and all-IP video delivery.
