Satellite operator SES (NYSE Paris:SESG) announced the addition of 4KUniverse UltraHD video programming on UHD1, a collaborative SES UltraHD channel for North American cable operators, telcos and their audiences, unveiled earlier this year.

Mance Media's 4KUniverse content includes documentaries, theatrical movies, experimental films, feature films and TV series. The 4K/UltraHD content will be featured on UHD1 and delivered over SES-3, one of three SES satellites (SES-1, SES-3, and AMC-18) that comprise SES's UltraHD distribution neighborhood at the center of the orbital arc over North America.

UHD1 is one of four Ultra HD channels to be featured on SES's UltraHD platform in North America. SES currently delivers eight UltraHD channels globally, four of them for North American markets.
