Clearfield NASDAQ:CLFD) has expanded its FieldSmart Fiber Delivery Point (FDP) line of products with the introduction of the 144-Port PON Insert Kit.

Intended for smaller serving areas, the kit is designed to reduce the number of access points and the secondary/distribution fiber needed to reach the home. It's intended to help minimize drop lengths and large points of failure should damage occur. It's designed for direct bury or vault-mounting and is also available as an insert kit for existing pedestals.

The kit is designed to increase density within the company's FDP Pedestal by incorporating additional Clearview Blue Cassettes and the new WaveSmart High Density Splitter. It's available in either patch-only or patch and splice configurations.
