Rovi (NASDAQ:ROVI) announced the expansion of its entertainment discovery patent license agreement with Canadian service provider Shaw Communications (TSX:SJR.B). The deal expands the scope of usage under Shaw's existing long-term license agreement to Rovi's intellectual property. Shaw serves 2.6 million video customers across Canada.
