At IBC in Amsterdam, Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) unveiled its new "Infinite" suite of cloud video solutions. The new suite is intended to help service providers, broadcasters and media companies deliver video to multiple screens, utilizing one cloud, on any access network, within the home and on the go.

The first two products of the Infinite family, designed to deliver linear, on-demand and time-shift video, include Infinite Home for video delivery to any screen over two-way cable and telco networks and Infinite Video for video delivery to a variety of consumer electronics devices via unmanaged over the top (OTT) Internet connections.

Infinite solutions are pre-integrated and use open-source components and offer open APIs. All Infinite solutions are based on the same software, APIs and management.
