Verizon (NYSE:VZ) is introducing fiber-based symmetrical 100 Mbps Internet speeds in New York City, Long Island, the northern suburbs and northern New Jersey. The new FiOS Quantum Internet speed tier sits in between the company's 75/75 and 150/150 tiers and costs $89.99 a month as part of a bundle with FiOS Custom TV and FiOS Voice services. Standalone price for the 100 Mbps tier is $54.99.
