Greenlee (NYSE:TXT) has launched a WiFi readiness test solution, AirScout. It's designed to characterize the premises WiFi environment, optimize the wireless network setup, and produce an on-screen report that a technician can share with the customer. The system is intended to validate a home for WiFi readiness and identify solutions to potential problems.

AirScout is designed to measure multiple locations simultaneously, then use the data to select the best channel and optimum location of the wireless access point. The system surveys the WiFi environment, produces a heat map, and provides a QoE score that can be shared with the subscriber.
