CenturyLink (NYSE:CTL) is launching its Prism TV service in parts of Portland, OR. The fiber-based interactive video service includes a wireless set-top box, whole-home DVR, a mobile app, VOD and an app center for accessing social network sites.

Prism TV is currently available to Portland residents and businesses with fiber service in the Sunnyside, Hawthorne, Belmont, Richmond, Mt. Tabor, Kerns, Hosford-Abernethy, Creston-Kenilworth, Sellwood-Moreland, Buckman, Brooklyn and Laurelhurst neighborhoods.

In 2014, CenturyLink deployed fiber-based 1 Gbps broadband service to residential and business customers in Portland.
