Worldnow announced its Worldnow OTT Gateway product, the company's first OTT video distribution platform for end-to-end video distribution. The Worldnow OTT Gateway is part of the Worldnow Media Platform, which combines the company's content management, distribution and monetization platforms. It's intended to let content providers deliver content from any source to any screen, and to simplify the process of delivering unified video across all IP-connected devices.

Worldnow OTT Gateway is designed to deliver interactive, social video solutions with monetization. It consists of a collection of native application templates and a software development kit (SDK) and leverages social TV and mobility solutions.

Worldnow Experience Apps, also new, are designed to enable companies to configure and deliver mobile and connected device apps without writing any code. Available apps include:

  • Cloud-based unified video and content management platform
  • Customizable template apps for connected devices
  • User verification for TV Everywhere
  • Support for video, audio, photos, and interactive engagements features, such as member check-in, comments, ratings, and social sharing
