At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Anvato is introducing Anvato Cloud DVR, an integrated, software cloud recording and storage solution for TV Everywhere. Expanding on on the company's Media Content Platform (MCP) and Watch offerings, Anvato Cloud DVR is designed to enable TV broadcasters, networks and service providers to give viewers access to virtually any TV content on any device, similar to the traditional living room experience with a set-top-based DVR.
All of the channels available from a broadcast network or service provider can be accessed via the TV Everywhere application interface. The user interaction is coupled with Anvato MCP, which prepares the content on behalf of the broadcaster or service provider with relevant metadata and dynamic ad insertion (DAI) functions.
Anvato Cloud DVR is designed as a self-sufficient service with no third-party vendor or CDN dependencies. All Anvato products are 100% software-based and run on off-the-shelf hardware.
