Saffron Digital has partnered with Verimatrix to offer revenue security and monetization tools to broadcasters and operators. The partnership combines Saffron's OTT platform, MainStage, with Verimatrix's revenue security solution, VCAS. Integrating VCAS into MainStage is intended to enable Saffron customers to deliver video solutions that can be monetized across any device and business model.

VCAS for Internet TV, powered by the multi-network Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS), platform, is designed to provide a multiscreen security solution for OTT services over networks implementing the HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) and MPEG-DASH protocols, including both live (broadcast) and VOD content delivery. In addition, VCAS offers a harmonized rights management approach.

The combined solution will be shown at NAB 2015 in Las Vegas.
