Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI) announced the general availability of its newest Guru Network Management System, including monitoring, control and failover mechanisms. It's intended to manage video operations on any network worldwide, including cable, IPTV, satellite and OTT networks.

Guru leverages a market reference platform that has been integrated with a number of devices and drivers, and is designed to monitor thousands of devices from more than 500 vendors. It can be deployed on single, redundant or a cluster of servers.

Optimized for Envivio IP and convergent video headends, Guru monitors services with customizable alarm management functions, and redundant workflow management using Northbound Interface and N+M redundancy failover features.
