Saffron Digital has partnered with Nowtilus, a content workflow platform provider, to add live streaming to MainStage, Saffron's OTT platform. The new partnership is intended to create a live streaming TV Everywhere solution that includes live TV, catch-up and VOD in one place. The combined solution will be unveiled at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The new partnership enhances MainStage with live feed acquisition, EPG acquisition and management, live workflow and bundling, NDVR, dynamic ad-replacement and insertion, DRM for live streams, application integration, DASH playback and reporting.
