Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Fiber announced plans to deploy its 1 Gbps Internet and other services in Salt Lake City. The Utah capital joins Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville and Raleigh-Durham, NC, in the design phase of the search giant's fiber-based network planning.
