The NCTC and Vubiquity announced an agreement to make Vubiquity's LiveVU linear TV platform available to NCTC members. LiveVU's hosted MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 service is intended to enable NCTC members to retire aging/end-of-life, MPEG-2 transcode solutions or migrate from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4. LiveVU includes access to more than 720 SD and HD channels.

NCTC members will have access to preferred pricing from Vubiquity, and in most cases should be able to deploy with LiveVU within weeks.
