If you streamed the World Series, odds are good that technology from Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) helped you do it. MLB.TV used the company's Open Network architecture and technologies contained in Cisco's video portfolio, mobility solutions and Unified Computing Platform to enable TV Everywhere streaming of the Series.
For the first time in the history of baseball, the entire World Series was delivered by making content available for live streaming across any Internet connected, video capable device.
