Frontier Communications (NASDAQ:FTR) is now offering 1 Gbps Internet speeds to residential customers in select neighborhoods of Beaverton, OR. The company plans to expand the service to more areas as work continues into next year. The company announced another gigabit deployment in Durham, NC, last week.
