At IBC in Amsterdam, ABOX42 will launch its latest user interface, OPX TV, for its current product lines and also the company's upcoming third generation products. The new video client is intended to mix DVB channels with IPTV and OTT channels and to support multiple languages and character sets, including support for non-Latin based languages.

Features include:

  • Unified channel lists for DVB and IP channels
  • Multi-language EPG with extended content
  • Local and network PVR as well as time-shift support
  • Forward and backward EPG for catchup and restart TV
  • Integration of third party TV apps
  • Support for HbbTV and red-button services
  • Operator branded and skinned user interface
