Canby Telcom, which serves 7,000 customers in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon, is deploying fiber-based Gigabit Internet services to the town of Canby, OR, southeast of Portland in hopes of attracting large brand name and high-tech corporations to the area. The telco is using FTTH technology from ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN).
