ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS) has announced that Polish telecom company, Netia, will use the ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router. The company will work with VECTOR, an ARRIS value-added reseller, to deploy the CCAP-capable platform. Netia noted that with no legacy infrastructure in place, it had freedom to choose a platform capable of delivering high-speed broadband and IP content today, but that will also support DOCSIS 3.1 and CCAP.

This announcement follows last week's notice by ARRIS that the Multimedia Polska Group would use the E6000 to upgrade its channel density and readiness for deploying converged services. The company already used the ARRIS C4 CMTS.
