Zanaware Technologies' Device View Manager (DVM) is a self-contained, multi-device, probe-like system intended to provide cable operators real-time monitoring of devices throughout the video network. It's designed to flag potential headend failures without the need for probes installed at every point within the network.

DVM uses continuous configuration interrogation, SNMP monitoring, syslogs and data traps, and continuous QAM and stat-mux analysis, and is designed to to notify the operator when devices fail or go off-line. It also features built-in auto detection of new devices.

A Live View feature is intended to allow operators to view each outbound program stream, to check for tiling, macroblocking, or other issues. The program stream is transcoded to MPEG-4 (H.264).
