Japanese cable operator Izukyu Cable has selected the ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) to upgrade its high-speed broadband services. The deployment is intended to help Izukyu enhance its high-speed Internet services as well as telecommunication services and move to DOCSIS 3.1 in the future. Izukyu serves 27,909 households in the Izu Peninsula.
