Hitron Technologies Americas has launched its CGMN, a DOCSIS 3.0 24 x 8 Wireless Application Gateway with integrated MoCA 2.0 networking technology. It's designed to deliver near 1 Gbps data service over existing networks and distribute it in the premises via dual-band 802.11n/802.11ac WiFi and MoCA 2.0.

It's built upon the Puma 6MG DOCSIS chipset and combines high-speed data transfer with 24 bonded downstream channels, eight upstream channels and an integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch. It also incorporates a 600 MHz ARM core processor for routing plus a 1.2 GHz core for WiFi and feature offload.
