Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) announced the launch of Xfinity WiFi Hotspots in Florida, with Palm Beach County and Broward being the first areas in the state to get access to the newly deployed outdoor and neighborhood WiFi hotspots.

Xfinity WiFi also recently made its debut in Universal Orlando Resort, providing free park-wide WiFi access across both Universal Orlando theme parks - Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida - and at Universal CityWalk.

The MSO plans to have more than 400,000 Xfinity WiFi hotspots available throughout Florida by the end of this year. Comcast currently has more than 3 million hotspots nationwide.
