Rovi (NASDAQ:ROVI) has launched Rovi Personalized Discovery Solution, combination of technologies from Rovi and recently acquired Veveo. The cloud-based solution includes voice-enabled, natural-conversation interaction, as well as a contextual and predictive search and recommendations engine.

It's is powered by Rovi entertainment metadata and a dynamic Knowledge Graph that maintains information on more than 100 million entertainment-related entities drawn and verified from more than 100,000 online sources.

Also offered are Conversation Services, which are designed to drive voice-enabled search and recommendations. Conversation Services allow consumers to ask questions and have a back-and-forth dialog to find content. The personalization capabilities may also be tightly integrated into Rovi Connected Guides for use on smart TVs, mobile phones and tablets.
