    According to ABI Research, Harmonic (NASDAQ:HLIT) and Elemental are in a virtual tie for the lead in the multiscreen encoder market, followed by Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI).

    The encoding market is expanding not just in revenue, but also in the number of companies competing in it and how they deliver their products. Cloud encoding platforms are finding significant use cases alongside traditional large system integrators. Software and workflow oriented companies round out the market.
