ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) has acquired Mississauga, Ontario-based SeaWell Networks for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition comes one year after ARRIS's acquisition of Motorola Mobility's Home division. ARRIS plans to integrate SeaWell's adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming technologies and talent into its Network & Cloud business.
