    At CES in Las Vegas, SMC Networks announced it has signed a non-exclusive reseller agent agreement with Adams Cable Equipment to distribute its Veloxite family of DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems, EMTAs and wireless gateways.

    The agreement expands SMC's distribution in the United States, Canada and parts of Latin America. As part of the agreement, ACE will stock the Veloxite D3G0804W 8x4 data gateway, as well as SMC's other Veloxite DOCSIS 3.0 devices.
