At CES in Las Vegas, Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) announced it has expanded its Videoscape TV services delivery platform to include new cloud video capabilities, including Videoscape "as-a-service" and open cloud software technologies based on OpenStack.With new software and technology for both private and public cloud services, the new set of Videoscape cloud capabilities is intended to give service providers and media companies the ability to capitalize on the Internet of Everything. They provide simplified options to deliver new consumer experiences, such as second screen and 4K video, and offer more customization and personalization for viewing and sharing content across multiple devices.The new cloud capabilities include Videoscape Cloud Software, Videoscape Cloud Services, Cisco Cloud Fusion for Videoscape and the Videoscape Open UX Foundation.
